Beats the 5 star hotels and is a fraction of the price. Live locally in style!

An elegant, spacious 1 bedroom loft studio with Eiffel Tower views that trump the big 5 star hotels in Paris. We stayed at a ritzy 5 star hotel after this and regretted every moment - we should've continued on at Maison des Chaumes. Breakfast - to die for. - impeccable.

On the first weekend in December 2025, we, a married couple, were guests of Odile and Remy. The top-floor apartment in a typical Parisian apartment building from the 1880s in the 16th Arrondissement is, like the entire building, beautiful, well-proportioned, and a real highlight. Besides its surprising size for Parisian standards, the view from the many windows is impressive, overlooking the rooftops of Paris and even the Eiffel Tower. In addition, selected interior, tasteful art, and interesting books are offered. The location is ideal for all kinds of activities. Restaurants, shops, museums, parks, all nearby. The B31 bistro right across the street is a dream. The hosts are incredibly nice, attentive, art-loving, worldly, with a great sense of humor. They spoil you wherever they can. The breakfast is fantastic, varied, typically French, and of high quality. Always a beautifully set table, each time with original decorations from the the vast collection of world travelers. Completely unexpectedly and undeservedly, you feel like kings. This apartment offer is so special and personal that it deserves more than 10 stars.has earned. It is by far the most beautiful overnight accommodation in Paris that we have ever known. have. During our next visit to Paris, we would very much like to stay at - if we are allowed to Remy and Odile live.

Remy & Odile offer an idyllic private apartment above their own apartment in the 16th Arrondissement’s upscale neighbourhood of Auteuil, which was a most-welcome change from the very busy and crowded tourist-centric areas and hotels with small rooms and bathrooms my wife & I had stayed during our four previous visits to Paris dating back to 2002.

 Remy & Odile personify the “perfect hosts”, from how they very warmly welcome and treat their guests; the advice, guidance, and tips they gave which helped us “live like locals do” for the first time in Paris; and, the breakfasts most definitely helped my wife & me “kick-start” our days for the extensive walking and sightseeing we did, as recommended by Remy & Odile.

 The restaurant recommendations they gave us (well in advance of our arrival in Paris – giving us time to research, choose, and for Remy & Odile to then make reservations for us) were “outstanding” (with Le Concert de Cuisine being the highlight of our culinary experience during our stay at Maison des Chaumes).

 My wife & I both very-highly recommend Maison des Chaumes as an outstanding and excellent choice for couples for accommodation in Paris, and we hope to be able to return to Paris and stay at Maison des Chaumes once again.
